Telephone Conference

During the ancient times, people rely on difficult means of communication. In Egypt, they used trumpets to call people. In China, they used the gong. To send letters to a faraway land, people hired the services of birds, until came such time when post offices were formally opened and postmen were employed.

It was the Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone that made a milestone in the history of human communication. From thereon messages were not only transmitted through ink and paper anymore. Human voice was exactly captured and sent through electric wires, and the exchange of thoughts with other people had become extraordinarily effortless.

And after many decades, with enhanced telephone technologies in almost all the places in the world, setting group meetings has also become easy with telephone conference. The constraint of transportation has been eliminated as groups can virtually gather together and talk about their agenda in a fast, efficient and hassle-free way. Different data services like radio and television are fused with the newest telephone technologies and built a system that makes a strong means of communication empowering communities of common understanding.
